Hapag-Lloyd is a German multinational delivery and container transportation firm based mostly in Hamburg, Germany. It’s the fifth-largest delivery firm on the earth by TEU capability and the most important in Europe. The corporate was fashioned in 1970 from the merger of two German delivery corporations, Hapag and Norddeutscher Lloyd.
The title “Hapag-Lloyd” is pronounced with the stress on the second syllable of every phrase. The “a” in “Hapag” is pronounced just like the “a” in “father”, and the “o” in “Lloyd” is pronounced just like the “o” in “canine”.
